How AI Age Filter handles the face photos you upload, and the small amount of other data the site needs to work.
Last updated: 2026-11-01
AI Age Filter (ai-age-filter.com) takes a photo you upload and has an AI model make a new picture from it, for example an older or younger version of a face, or several photos combined into one. Faces are personal, so this page spells out what we receive, why, who else touches it and when it goes away. "We", "our" and "us" refer to the people who run ai-age-filter.com.
The short version
- The photos you upload are used for one thing: making the picture you asked for. We don't sell them, post them anywhere or use them to train AI models.
- We keep uploads only as long as the service needs them, and we delete yours as soon as you ask.
- To keep free images fair, we store a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and an identifier for your device. Your actual IP address is never stored.
- Nobody signs up here. You only give us an email address if you choose to join the waitlist for a tool that isn't finished yet.
Information you hand us
Your photos. Whatever you upload to a tool, after your own browser has shrunk and compressed it. With it come the options you selected (an age, a style, a layout) and, on tools that offer it, any extra wording you type in.
Waitlist email. A few tools or options aren't ready yet. Choosing one opens a form that offers to let you know when it works. If you send it, we save your email address, the page and option involved, your answer to " What do you need it for?", and a salted one-way hash of your IP address so we can filter out bots. That address is used for that single notice only: we don't check it, add it to a mailing list or pass it to anyone.
Emails to us. If you write to us, we keep the thread so we can answer.
Information the site collects on its own
- Free-image count. A salted hash of your IP address, an identifier your browser works out from its own settings, and how many free pictures you've made. That browser identifier is also stored in your browser's local storage.
- Generation history. Which tool and options were used, at what time, whether it succeeded, and the addresses of the uploaded photo and the finished picture.
- Server logs. As with any website, our host handles your IP address, browser type and the pages you open, both to serve the site and to fend off attacks.
- Traffic statistics. Plausible Analytics counts our visits without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you. We only see totals like page views, countries and the sites people came from.
Cookies and local storage
We don't set cookies for visitors. Your browser's local storage holds the device identifier described above and whether you prefer the light or dark theme. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes both.
Services that process data for us
A handful of outside companies help run the site. Each one gets only what its job requires:
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and stores uploaded photos; like any web host it sees your IP address when you connect.
- AI image model providers — receive your photo and the chosen style, run the model that creates your image, and keep the result for a limited time so it can be downloaded.
- Plausible Analytics — counts visits without cookies and without knowing who you are.
Apart from that, we only hand over information when the law obliges us to, or when it is needed to prevent fraud or keep someone safe. We never sell personal information and never share it for advertising.
How long things are kept
- Uploaded photos: stored only to run the service. Email us and we remove yours.
- Finished pictures: held by the AI provider that made them for a limited time so you can download them, then deleted. Download anything you want to keep.
- Free-image records: for as long as free images are offered. They never contain a raw IP address.
- Waitlist entries: until the notice for that tool has gone out, or until you ask us to delete yours, whichever happens first.
Your rights
Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, send you a copy, fix it or erase it, uploaded photos included. You will hear back within 30 days. Depending on where you live — the EU, the UK or California, for example — you may have further rights, such as complaining to your local data protection authority.
Children
AI Age Filter is for people aged 18 and over, and photos of anyone younger than 18 must not be uploaded. The babies and younger faces our tools show are made up by AI, not photos of real children. If we find that we hold a photo of a minor, we delete it.
The waitlist is also only for adults; if we learn a child has signed up, we remove the entry.
Keeping data safe
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Every upload is checked to be a real image before it is stored, and it is saved at a long, random address that isn't listed anywhere. Anyone holding that address can open the file, so don't share your result links unless you mean to.
Where processing happens
Our host and AI providers operate servers in several countries, so your data may be handled outside the country where you live.
Updates to this policy
Whenever this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. If an update changes how your photos are used, we will announce it on the site before it applies.
